Fullstack Job: Fullstack Engineer (Backstage)

• JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below)

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a W2/salaried contract. The rate reflects a W2 engagement. This is US only.

What you’ll be working on

We are looking for someone who is a go getter, and is willing to learn new things. We are a very agile team and focus on supporting many different parts of the EG ecosystem. We are looking for a mid-level engineer able to work in react, javascript, node.js, aws, Python and in an SRE based team.

Key activities

• Build and maintain plugins, flows, packs services within the Backstage ecosystem and ChatOps platform
• Build APIs, Databases, etc and connect AWS resources to services that help improve productivity for developers
• Work on chatops and workflow capabilities to automate day to day functionality and reliability of the platforms

Key requirements

• Strong knowledge of Javascript, Node.JS, React
• Strong knowledge python, or equivalent
• Knowledge with AWS and building resources for services
• Knowledge of designing and building APIs, databases, schemas, etc
